Shock Bring In Schumacher

Auburn Hills, MI -- (Sports Network) - The Detroit Shock signed center Kelly Schumacher for the remainder of the season on Saturday.

The 30-year-old is entering her eighth WNBA season and has averaged 5.1 points and 3.1 rebounds in her career.

Schumacher, who went to the University of Connecticut, averaged 4.4 points and 4.3 rebounds off the bench last season for the Phoenix Mercury.
