It's a day of hurry up and wait. The jury can come back at any time so sitting outside the courtroom is crucial, so that's what I did for almost six hours.

The jury was not sequestered last night, so they were asked to be back at 9 a.m. this morning.

They deliberated and several times asked questions. When it comes to the jury, they have to write out their request and then hand it to the bailiff.

So throughout the morning the prosecutors and defense attorneys would rush into the 120th courtroom to hear their request.

The jury has asked for everything from evidence, although they weren't allowed to have Ramos' handgun at the same time as the ammunition, but they were granted their requests, including transcripts from witness testimony.

They finally took a lunch break just about 12:30 this afternoon. They didn't sit in the courthouse cafeteria, instead they worked through the lunch hour.

Minutes before 3 p.m. the bailiff came to tell me they were being sent home for the weekend.

The jury once again is not being sequestered and will report back at 9 a.m. Monday. I'll be back waiting for their verdict.
