Moisture moving back into the area will give us better rain chances for your Friday as well as your Independence Day Saturday. Some of the weekend storms will have that potential again for producing heavy rainfall.

Friday: Partly cloudy with a 30% chance of thunderstorms. Some storms may contain heavy rainfall. El Paso 92, Las Cruces 91. South winds 5 to 15 mph.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening. Lows: El Paso 69, Las Cruces 67. South winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the southeast after midnight.
