Cooler temperatures will be with us today and tomorrow. By later tomorrow we will see increasing clouds along with chances for rain showers both Wednesday and Thursday. At this point with temperatures expected to remain enough above freezing it looks like this system will be just a rainmaker. But we will continue to monitor this for any forecast changes.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy in the afternoon then turning mostly cloudy with a 50% chance of rain showers late. El Paso 52/37. Las Cruces 52/36. Southeast winds 5 to 15 miles per hour.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy and breezy with a 40% chance of rain showers. El Paso 50/35. Las Cruces 50/34. West winds 15 to 25 miles per hour.

Friday: Mostly sunny and warmer. El Paso 60/33. Las Cruces 59/33. Northwest winds to 5 miles per hour. Saturday: Partly cloudy. El Paso 61/39. Las Cruces 60/38. Northwest winds 5 to 10 miles per hour.
