High pressure will warm us up and give us light winds through the rest of this work week. By late afternoon Friday a cold front will swing through the area. This surface feature coupled with an upper low will give us windy weather Friday into early Saturday. Cooler temperatures can also be expected for the weekend.

Wednesday: Sunny skies and warmer. El Paso 70/41. Las Cruces 69/38. East winds 5 to 10 mph.
Thursday: Mostly sunny. El Paso 75/47. Las Cruces 74/41. Southwest winds 5 to 15 mph.
Friday: Mostly sunny and windy. El Paso 73/42. Las Cruces 72/40. West winds 20 to 30 mph wind gusts will be to 50 mph.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, windy and cooler. El Paso 62/36. Las Cruces 60/32. West winds 20 to 30 mph early in the morning with wind gusts possible to 40 mph.
