Austria's Haemmerle and Italy's Moioli Win Exciting Snowboard Races at Sochi
Alessandro Haemmerle of Austria avoided a last minute crash on Sunday (February 17) to win the men's snowboardcross race at the Rosa Khutor Extreme Park, a test event for next year's Sochi winter Olympic Games. The riders started early in the morning when fog, rather than the previous day's rain, affected the course.
