She was either shot or electrocuted, but now this rare Eastern Imperial Eagle is learning to fly again. The wounded bird was found in the southern Israeli desert and brought to an animal hospital in Ramat Gan for recovery. After a complicated operation in which veterinarians inserted a platinum nail into her wing, the bird recovered but was still unable to fly. And that's where falconry expert Eyal Lifshitz comes in.
