Wildfires Rip Through Mile-High State

Wildfire season has come early in parts of Colorado. Two wind-driven wildfires sprang up north of Fort Collins on Friday. About 50 people were evacuated. Officials say the larger fire had already burned about 800 acres. Erratic winds, unseasonably high temperatures and low humidity helped fan the flames. No structures have been lost and no injuries have been reported. The causes of the fires are still under investigation.
