Syrian Rebels Storm Police Academy
Syrian rebels launch an attack on a police academy outside the embattled city of Aleppo. On Sunday (March 3) rebels said they seized the base after days of fighting against government forces. Heavy casualties were sustained on both sides. This amateur video, which could not be independently verified, is said to show the assault on Saturday (March 2). At least one tank appeared to be in the control of rebel fighters.
