Delegations representing religions from around the world on Wednesday (March 20) gathered at the Vatican for a meeting with Pope Francis. The Pope's ecumenical audience was attended by non-Catholic Christians as well as Jewish, Muslim and Buddhist delegations. Francis, who was officially inaugurated a day earlier on Tuesday (March 19) told his guests he had a "firm intention" to continue his predecessors on the path of ecumenical dialogue.
