Obama To Nominate Hagel As Defense Secretary
President Barack Obama plans to announce former Sen. Chuck Hagel as his nominee to become the next defense secretary on Monday, administration officials told CNN. Obama also plans to unveil his nominee for permanent CIA director on Monday, one senior administration official said. Speaking Sunday, that official cautioned the schedule was subject to change.
