In the run-up to what's expected to be a neck and neck presidential election, officials in Kenya and worldwide are hoping Monday's election is spared the violence seen five years ago in the last one. Prime Minster Raila Odinga and Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta - are the front runners, well ahead of the other six candidates. In 2007 more than 1200 people died in tribal violence, resulting in one of the candidates, Kenyatta, being indicted by the Hague for instigating the blodshed.
