Hiroshi Mikitani is one of Japan's most successful entrepreneurs of the internet age. Sometimes called the country's Jeff Bezos, the 48-year old Harvard MBA founded Rakuten in 1997 and built it into Japan's biggest online retailer. He was also hand-picked by new Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to sit on a reform panel that's tasked with turning the stagnant economy around. We sat down with Mikitani to ask what kinds of changes may be in store for Japan Inc, and whether it's poised for a revival.
