Hundreds of Thousands Greet New Pope in Vatican

An overflow crowd of more than 150,000 people packed St. Peter's Square to catch a glimpse of the new Pope. After leading a simple mass in a tiny Vatican parish church Pope Francis then read out his first Angelus blessing from the papal apartments. "I send cordial greetings to all pilgrims," he said. "I am asking you to continue to pray for me." The address drew people from around the world, including Argentina, the pope's home country.
