Deadly Blizzard Slams Northern Japan

At least nine people have been found dead following a powerful blizzard that swept through the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido over the weekend. Rescue workers near the town of Nakashibetsu uncovered a family of four - all died in their car as it was engulfed in snow. The 40-year-old mother and her three children died of carbon monoxide poisoning after their vehicle's exhaust pipe became clogged with snow.
