Cardinals arrive Monday morning at the Vatican. They're here for a general congregation to prepare for the upcoming closed-door papal conclave that will determine who among them will become the Roman Catholic Church's next leader. There is much speculation on which region the next pope might come from, with contenders hailing from around the globe. But cardinals never reveal publicly who they prefer as pontiff.
