Martin Scorsese Pays It Forward

Filmmaker Martin Scorsese honored fellow director Darren Aronofsky at the first annual First Time Fest in New York on Monday (March 4). Aronofsky is the brains behind such box office hits as "Black Swan", "The Wrestler" and "Requiem for a Dream." The 44-year-old began his film career with the black and white thriller "Pi" in 1998, which Scorsese jokingly described as distressing. Scorsese went on to call the young film maker fearless and vividly alive.
