Tilted Kilt to expand to El Paso, create more than 100 jobs

EL PASO, Texas -- A few El Pasoans got a taste of a new restaurant coming to the city that will bring more than 100 jobs.

The Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery held a groundbreaking ceremony at its future site in west El Paso Thursday afternoon.

There are five locations throughout the state, and the chain plans to add three more to El Paso with its first location at the corner of Sunland Park Drive and Interstate 10.

"We're breaking ground on our very first location in the Southwest region. We're really excited about bringing the brand of the Tilted Kilt to El Paso and creating over 100 jobs for the community," said April Cano-Medina, director of marketing and hiring.

The Tilted Kilt is an eatery with a Scottish, Irish and English pub feel. The menu has a variety of dishes, including hand-battered fish and chips, Shepherd's pie and Gaelic chicken.
