Child porn found on USB drive left behind at El Paso library

By: Jamel Valencia
EL PASO, Texas - A USB drive left behind at a local public library had disturbing material stored in it.

Employees at the Armijo Library came across the device Friday afternoon, according to police.

When they tried seeing who it belonged to, they found child pornography, stated a news release.

The material prompted the employees to call the police.

A detective who examined the material found two videos that showed young girls, ages 3 and 4, engaging in sexual acts with adult men, police said.

The owner of the USB was still at the library and was placed in custody.

He was identified as 43-year-old Rodolfo Sanchez of the 3200 block of Pera Street.

Detectives dont believe Sanchez filmed the videos.

The videos are believed to have been traded on the Internet, said police.

Sanchez was taken to jail and charged with two counts of possession of child pornography.

His bond was set at $140,000.
