Police: Woman punches, stabs 52-year-old boyfriend

By: Jesse Martinez
EL PASO, Texas A 40-year-old woman was arrested Monday morning after she stabbed her 52-year-old boyfriend, police said.

Mike Baranyay, a spokesperson for the El Paso Police Department, said the couple was arguing around 9:25 a.m. inside a home on the 1500 block of Pullman Drive in east El Paso.

The couple continued arguing outside where the woman punched her boyfriend in the face and stabbed him in the right arm and thigh, Baranyay said.

Police found the man down the street, and he was taken to Del Sol Medical Center for treatment. His injuries were not life-threatening, Baranyay said.

The woman was found at the home and was arrested. Her name and her charges were not released.
