El Paso police investigate aggravated robbery in Northeast El Paso

EL PASO, Texas -- El Paso police are investigating an armed aggravated robbery in Northeast El Paso at a Howdy's convenience store.

Police were called to the Howdy's at the 1300 block of McCombs just before 3:30 A.M. Monday morning after an alarm was activated by the clerk.

KFOX14 is told two armed men held the clerk at gunpoint, and jumped over the counter. Police said they took $200.00 in cash and also took cigarettes, before driving off southbound on McCombs.

At last check, police were on the look out for two suspects, described as Hispanic men. 

It's unknown if this robbery is connected to the robbery of another convenience store in West El Paso on Monday.

No injuries were immediately reported.

The alleged thieves are described as Hispanic men. One was about 6 feet tall, wearing a gray hoodie and had a goatee. The other has a medium height and was wearing a black hoodie and black beanie cap.
