Man caught on camera stealing eight pairs of women’s jeans

EL PASO, Texas -- Police are asking for help to identify a man who was captured on a store camera stealing clothes in east El Paso.

According to the El Paso Police Department, the incident happened around 8 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Kohls located at 6101 Gateway West Blvd. at Bassett Place.

The thief, described as Hispanic male in his mid-20s about 5 feet 8 inches weighing around 180 pounds, was seen taking eight pairs of womens Levi jeans, according to officials. The man fled and was seen getting into a gray colored Infiniti four-door sedan with a sunroof.

The thief was said to be wearing black denim jeans, a black baseball cap with a Spurs logo, a black T-shirt with a design in the front of a $100 bill crown design on the back, and a gray long sleeve hoodie under the T-shirt.
