Man wanted for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and seven other charges

SUNLAND PARK, N.M.- Sunland Park police say Saul Flores is wanted for aggravated battery on a household member with a deadly weapon, aggravated burglary, two counts of false imprisonment, aggravated stalking, assault and interference with communications.

Police say Flores went to his former girlfriend's house on the 300 block of Ocotillo and pushed her on to the bed.

 Flores attempted to smother her with a pillow, while hitting her on the top of her head.

4-year-old child was in the room at the time of the incident.

Officers say Flores did not allow the victim to call the police or leave the home; he also took her cellphone away.

Police believe Flores is in El Paso, Texas.

There is a $30,000 warrant for his arrest.
