Photo of boy playing at brother's graveside goes viral

A mother who lost her 5-day-old son found a heartwarming way to tribute his death.

Ashlee Hammac lost Ryan to Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephlopathy, a brain dysfunction that occurs when there is a lack of blood flow to the brain, in 2013.

In an interview with People magazine, Hammac said she added the sandbox to Ryans grave so her older son, 3-year-old Tucker, could play with his brother.

The picture of Tucker playing at his brothers graveside was posted on "Pages to Memories," a Facebook page of a nonprofitgroup that donates supplies to neonatal intensive care units and provides emotional support to struggling families.

As of Friday afternoon, the photo has been shared 49,495 times.
