Those with upaid warrants could see their names in newspapers, online

EL PASO, Texas - El Pasoans that have unpaid warrants will have their names published in the newspaper and online, if they do not pay up.

According to the El Paso Municipal Court, there are about 100,000 people who havent paid their warrants; most of those are municipal warrants.

If you are not sure if you have one, check online.

If you want to avoid your name being published in the El Paso Times and El Diario newspapers on Feb. 23, you can pay them by Feb. 12.

The El Paso Police Department will begin conducting Warrant Roundups throughout the City as well, so the public is encouraged to take care of any Active Warrants to avoid arrest.
