Farrey investigation update: Jenna given $1.5 million bond on injury to a child charge

By: Jamel Valencia
EL PASO, Texas - Jail records indicate Jenna Farrey, who is being held in jail, had her bond set at $1.5 million on suspicion of injury to a child.

In December, Jenna Farrey was taken into custody at the El Paso County Jail after her 5-month-old baby was found dead in a shallow grave in the New Mexico desert.

Police investigators on Nov. 20 found the remains of baby Jackson Farrey in a desert area in Orogrande, N.M., near McGregor Range.

She was taken into custody on a probation violation from a 2012 injury to a child case involving her other son, Blake. At that time Jenna was jailed without a bond.

Medical examiners could not determine Jacksons cause of death because his body was severely decomposed.

The father of Jackson Farrey, Fort Bliss soldier Jeffrey Farrey, is currently being held at the El Paso County Jail on an injury to a child by omission charge. His bond was set at $1.5 million.
