Police: Two found with dangerous drugs after traffic stop

EL PASO, Texas A traffic stop led to the arrest of two people who were found with various types of drugs, police said.

Michael Hoffman was driving with Marina Olivarez with an expired dealer tag Sunday evening, police said.

Police said the two were found with 3.6 grams of Temazepam, a sleep aid; 21 Divalproex sodium pills, which treat seizures; seven Aripiprazole pills, which treat schizophrenia or bipolar disorder; 14 duloxetine pills, which treat depression or anxiety; and 13 Trazodone pills, which treat depression.

The pills were inside the vehicle's glove box, police said.

Hoffman, 26, and Olivarez, 25, were charged with possession of dangerous drugs and possession of a controlled substance less than 28 grams. The two were booked into the county jail with bail set at $1,500 each.
