Police: Identity thief had more than 100 victims

EL PASO, Texas El Paso police said they arrested an identity theft suspect who had more than 100 peoples personal information including an ID card printer and other items.

Tasha Marie Bruno, 28, was under investigation by a financial crimes investigator, police said.

On Nov. 12, authorities found that Bruno had unlawfully possessed the information of 111 people without their consent, police said.

At her home on 151 Resler Drive, authorities found an ID card printer, blank check stock, blank ID card stock, electronic storage media with her victims names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver license numbers, credit and debit card numbers and banking information.

Police also said that five of Brunos victims were deceased.

Bruno was charged with fraudulent use or possession of identifying information and booked into the county jail with bail set at $20,000.

Police have made contact with Brunos victims, officials said.
