Developing: Several hurt, one possibly killed in northeast car crash

EL PASO, Texas Emergency crews are responding to a serious vehicle accident in northeast El Paso involving five people, one of whom may have died, officials said.

According to emergency dispatchers, five people were involved in a car crash on Gateway South Boulevard near Diana Drive.

KFOX14 crews could see a Ford F-150 truck, and a Pontiac Grand Am involved in the crash.

The Pontiac was completely crushed from behind, and the F-150 had severe damage to it's front end.

A body could be seen being removed from the Pontiac and placed onto the ground.

That area was closed off including the Diana Drive exit ramp on US 54. It cleared by around 8 p.m.

Police have not confirmed any deaths, but emergency dispatchers said one person may have died in the crash.

Officials said the Jaws of Life were used in the crash.
