EL PASO, Texas - Family members and loved ones are mourning the death of a 19-year old girl who was killed in a rear-end collision in northeast crash
El Paso police identified the 19-year-old girl as Jacqueline Hager.
Hagar was a rear-seat passenger of a green-colored 2002 Pontiac Grand Am when police said it stalled in a lane of traffic along the 9500 block of Gateway South Boulevard near Diana Drive in the northeast Monday afternoon.
Police traffic investigators determined a 2001 Ford F-150 driven by 51-year-old Craig Lewis was traveling along the same lane when it crashed into the rear of the Grand Am.
Inside the Grand Am were driver Jocelyn Nunez; 21, and passengers Joe DeSantiago; 20, Heidi Baca; 19 and Hager.
When KFOX14 arrived at the scene, the Pontiac was completely crushed from behind, and the F-150 had severe damage to its front end.
Drivers Lewis and Nunez along with passengers DeSantiago and Baca were taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators don't believe charges will be filed in this crash, however, the case remains an open investigation.
A memorial service for Hager is scheduled today at 4 p.m. along U.S. 54 near the Diana exit in front of the El Paso Community College in the northeast.
