By: Jamel Valencia
EL PASO, Texas - A volleyball player for the University of Texas at El Paso is under investigation in November's parking lot death of a foreign exchange student.

Our news partner, the El Paso Times, reported 20-year-old Madison Morris told police she reached down to retrieve a paper while driving through Miner Village.

At the same time while Morris was distracted, she told police she struck 23-year-old Achim F. Schweighofer, of Austria who was crossing the parking lot.

Schweighofer was a foreign exchange of UTEP.

No charges have been filed.
