Driver in high-speed chase identified as Tennessee woman

EL PASO, Texas - Angela Watson-Wiseman was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon when she returned to the home she's accused of robbing, police said.
Watson-Wiseman led sheriff's deputies and state troopers on a high-speed chase early Tuesday morning, according to officials.
El Paso police responded when Watson-Wiseman allegedly rolled the SUV she was driving off of hill on Scenic Drive.
Police said the SUV crashed into a driveway of a home located on Mina Perdida.
Watson-Wiseman was nowhere to be found; just the Toyota Highlander with Mississippi plates was found damaged at the home.
About an hour and 15 minutes later, police officers were called out to a home burglary in at 11 Mina Perdida. According to police, when they arrived they learned of Watson-Wiseman's description and began a foot pursuit of Watson-Wiseman in the area.
At 2 p.m. Watson-Wiseman returned to the home she had robbed and was taken into custody by the authorities.
Police investigators found jewelry and clothing that had been taken from the home, they said.
She was charged with burglary, booked into the El Paso County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
Additional charges are pending.
The investigation is ongoing.
