Make-A-Wish turns Cali. boy into 'BatKid'

By: Jamel Valencia
The Make-A-Wish foundation is known for turning dreams into a reality for children who suffer from a life-threatening medical condition.

California boy, Miles, was diagnosed with leukemia.

The 5-year-old finds inspiration in super heroes, according to the foundation's website. When asked what wish he would make, Miles replied, "I want to be 'Batkid'!"

The city of San Francisco is making sure that Miles' wish plays out. On Friday, a faux story on the news will break, prompting the San Francisco Police Department to call on the 'BatKid' for help.

The entire scenario will play out with the help of volunteers and city officials.

For those who will witness the young crime-fighter capture bad guys are being asked to share photos and/or video through social media using #sfbatkid.

Those who cannot participate can make a donation to help grant wishes to other children.
