Police say missing Las Cruces woman may be in danger

By: Jesse Martinez
LAS CRUCES, N.M. Rebecca Hoggan, 33, has not been seen since 10 p.m. Thursday, and police said she may be in danger.

Hoggan was last seen at her home, on the 900 block of Gilmer Way, police said.

A caregiver told police Hoggan suffered from mental and physical disorders that pose a danger to herself and others.

Hoggan is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. She has red hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black-and-white plaid shirt with blue jeans and a blue jacket. She may also be carrying a blue duffel bag, police said.

Police said Hoggan is known to frequent the area of 999 W. Amador Ave., as well as West Picacho Avenue between Motel Boulevard and Valley Drive.

Anyone with any information on Hoggan's whereabouts is asked to call police immediately.
