Police: Missing family left letter behind
By: Stacey Welsh
EL PASO , Texas -- The El Paso Police Department said Jeffery and Jenna Farrey and their two young children are still missing.
The Police Department said Jeffery, 22, and Jenna, 20, lived in the 7300 block of Cerro Negro Drive.
The family's landlord, Willie Hidalgo, tells KFOX14 the Farreys left a letter behind at their home.
The El Paso Police Department confirms there is a letter, but said releasing the contents of that letter would be detrimental to the case and the family's safety.
The police department said the Farreys' children, 17-month-old Blake and 5-month-old Jackson, are also missing.
People living in the area told KFOX14 the Farreys kept to themselves.
"I really didn't know them, but I didn't even know they had babies," west El Paso resident Liz Sanchez said.
Hidalgo also said the house was in poor condition when he last saw it Friday.
A friend of Jenna Farrey's said the couple had arguments in the past.
"Just a couple of arguments back and forth, nothing too violent or verbal," east El Paso resident Keith Costick said.
Costick also said he is not sure what could have caused their disappearance.
"No matter what situation it is, it's always about the children, to make sure children are safe," Costick said.
