New Mexico State University regents consider the sale of liquor on campus

LAS CRUCES, N.M.- New Mexico State University regents held a meeting today, it was decided the university would apply for state liquor licenses for the Pan American Center and the School of  Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management.

As KFOX14 has reported to you, the school has considered alcohol sales at  Pan Am for  years. NMSU President Garrey Carruthers had said he would tackle the issue right away:

The application will now go to Dona Ana County Commissioners before going on to the state for final approval.
