EL PASO, Texas A 19-year-old Fort Bliss man is accused of stabbing a 31-year-old pregnant woman
Wednesday night.

The victim was inside her home when she was allegedly attacked by Corey Bernard Moss. Police received a 911 call from her home on the 4900 block of Wichita around 7:10 p.m.

According to investigators, Moss was waiting inside the woman's home when she arrived and stabbed her several times. The victim had stab wounds on her face and body, and she received several fractures from the attack.

The woman was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition, and her unborn child is in good condition, police said.

Police said Moss owed the woman money for vehicle repairs, and they believe that to be a motive behind the attack.

Moss was later found by Fort Bliss Military Police and turned over to investigators.

He was charged with criminal attempt capital murder and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility. His bail was set at $60,000.
