Update: Fort Bliss soldier killed, 3 others injured in eastside crash

EL PASO, Texas -- A Fort Bliss soldier who police said lost control of his vehicle died at the scene of the accident Tuesday afternoon.
It happened around 1 p.m. on Walter Jones Boulevard, just south of Global Reach Drive in east El Paso.
Police said Troy Kent, 25, was driving a gray Chevrolet Aveo while speeding and lost control while driving eastbound on Walter Jones Boulevard.
Kent drove into oncoming traffic and was T-boned by a blue Ford Mustang, police said.
Fort Bliss officials said the driver of the gray car was a Fort Bliss soldier assigned to the 1st Armored Division, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man's passenger, also a Fort Bliss soldier, who was later identified as Alan Beauchene, 21, was taken to William Beaumont Army Medical Center in critical condition, Fort Bliss officials said.
According to police, two women were inside the Mustang. Fort Bliss officials said they were taken to Del Sol Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. They were later identified as Dyana Olivas, 23, and Maria Olivas, 56.
