Several city sports fields closed this week due to weather damage

EL PASO, Texas Several local sports fields will be closed this week because of damage caused by last week's weather.

El Paso Parks and Recreation Department officials announced that several sports fields are closed for practice or games for city and independent leagues.

The following sports fields will be closed this week:

Westside Sports Complex 201 Isela Rubalcava St.
Saipan-Ledo Fields 4601 Durazno Ave.
Capistrano Baseball Fields 8700 Padilla Dr.
Eastwood Park (Football Field) 3001 Parkwood St.
Galatzan Park (Field #1) 650 Wallenberg Dr.
Blackie Chesher Park (Fields #4, #5, #6) 9143 Escobar Dr.
Lomaland Park Fields 715 Lomita Dr.
Stiles Park Fields 7325 Stiles Dr.

Games originally scheduled at these parks will be moved to different locations, officials said. Visit quickscores.com to find out the new location for scheduled games.
