I joined the dedicated KFOX News Team as a General Assignment reporter in July 2006.

Almost immediately after arriving in the Sun City I hit the ground running—covering the worst storm to slam the area in more than half a century. Meeting residents who maintained their optimism despite losing everything was an experience I will never forget.

My first job in television news came while I was still a student at the University of Southern California. I was the youngest news writer and field producer ever hired by the number one station in Los Angeles, KABC-TV. That was a position I proudly held for two years while balancing a full load of classes.

A former Eagle Scout and competitive swimmer, I enjoy exercising and taking part in a variety of outdoor activities. One reason I’m glad to be in El Paso: my love of Mexican food!

I grew up in Orange County, California, and graduated Cum Laude from USC, where I double-majored in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science, and also earned a Spanish minor. I’m a graduate of the Annenberg School for Communication, where I received the Edna Lillich Davidson Journalism Award, and participated in the campus news station, Annenberg TV News.

I’m excited to be in the Borderland, providing viewers with an in-depth look at what’s happening in their communities.
