I am very excited to be a part of the KFOX news team.

Before coming to El Paso, I worked at FOX-7 in Austin, as the UT Reporter for their morning newscast. It was a wonderful experience and a great way to break into the business.

I also spent five months in Washington D.C. where I interned with the KFOX Washington Bureau. During my time there I became passionate about journalism, politics, and the delicate relationship between the two. It was my first chance to work with KFOX, and I am very grateful to be working with them now.

I got my start in television with the sports staff at the University of Texas student run KVR-TV, doing everything working as a photographer on games to commenting about them. Also while in Austin I spent nearly two years with the sports department at KXAN.

While I was raised in Seattle, much of my family is from El Paso and I have always loved visiting the Sun City. Now I am excited to call El Paso my permanent home.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, where I received degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Government.

In my spare time I love to watch sports, whether it be the Texas Longhorns, Seattle Mariners, or my new favorite UTEP Miners and El Paso Diablos. In my off time you can find me on the golf links, tennis courts, or nearly any sporting event that is in town.
