Even as a skinny 11-year-old kid sporting a New York Yankees' cap - that's the age I began my radio career - I knew I wanted to make a living in broadcasting. Who knew that I'd eventually trade-in my disc jockey headphones for a television earpiece?

With more than a decade of television experience, I have plenty of fun stories to share - including my now infamous Diablos' opening pitch a few years back. But now I also find myself covering serious news.

After three years in Albuquerque, New Mexico (KRQE-TV), I returned home to El Paso and found a perfect fit at KFOX. After nearly three years at KFOX, I was offered an opportunity to work at KFOX's sister station in Charlotte, WSOC-TV.
