Stephanie Guadian wakes up with you every morning as an anchor of the highly rated and popular “KFOX Morning News Show” from 5 to 8 a.m. Stephanie is an award-winning journalist who joined the KFOX news team in October of 2009. It was a move that brought her home. Stephanie grew up in Las Cruces and is thrilled to be back doing what she loves near the people she loves.

Stephanie comes to KFOX from KTRK in Houston. Prior to KTRK, she worked for the NBC affiliate in San Francisco and KTVK in Phoenix.

Stephanie says the broadcasting bug bit her early. By the end of her first communications class at Northern Arizona University, she developed a passion for television news. Since then, Stephanie’s career has taken her across the country and she has interviewed thousands of newsmakers. Stephanie spent a week in hurricane-ravaged New Orleans gathering stories on Katrina’s aftermath. She was also on the front lines as Hurricane Ike, one of the most destructive storms in American history, came ashore. Other stories have taken her to Mexico for the history of Cinco de Mayo and a series of reports on Doctors without Borders. Stephanie loves to connect to her community and tell people’s stories. Among her favorites are those that have a positive impact and help make a difference in the lives of others.

Stephanie enjoys giving back to her community. She gives her time to various charitable organizations and animal welfare leagues. If you're wondering what Stephanie does in her spare time, she loves to travel and meet new people. She likes to stay active by kickboxing, running and playing racquetball. She also loves to read, watch sci-fi movies and hang out with her dog Susie. Above all, she enjoys spending time with friends and family. She is the eldest of three girls and remains very close to her loved ones.
