Hello to all! I was born and raised in the beautiful Sun City. I’m a proud graduate of Montwood High School and the University of Texas at El Paso. I received my bachelor’s degree from UTEP in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Spanish.

I’m very fortunate to start my career in my hometown but most importantly in a station among extremely professional and talented individuals.

While in college, I was one of a few aspiring journalists selected for an internship in Tampa, Fla. But I first got my foot in the door here at KFOX as an intern. I then worked as an associate producer and weekend assignment editor and quickly moved my way on up as your traffic anchor and reporter.

I always knew my passion was being involved in the community and what better way than to inform you about what’s going on in your neighborhood.

I’m also a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalist and a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

My mother Rosalinda Medina is my role model and the hardest working woman I know. I also have two sisters, Cinthia and Linda.

When I’m not at work, you can find me having a good time with my family and friends, working out or just relaxing at home.
