Jenn Dombrowski is happy to be a member of KFOX news team. She came aboard in 2007 as a weekend producer after covering news in South Dakota and Pennsylvania.

Jenn grew up in Rome, N.Y. Her career in broadcasting started at a college radio station in Erie, Pa. After graduating from Gannon University, Jenn was hired by the local CBS affiliate as a weather forecaster.

After getting her feet wet in Weather and News reporting, Jenn packed her bags and headed West. She was hired as a reporter for the NBC affiliate in Sioux Falls, S.D. After six months, Jenn moved from the field to the Weekend Anchor Desk. From there, she became the anchor of the station’s new morning show. Reporting wasn’t her only passion. Jenn grew to love shooting video for the sports department in her spare time.

Her work has been recognized by the South Dakota Associated Press for a series documentary called “Path To Better Hearing.”

She is an advocate of teaching. For four years Jenn worked as a volunteer teacher for Lutheran Social Services. There she taught immigrants and refugees from all over the world to speak English and learn the American culture.

In her free time, Jenn enjoys playing with her dog, Abby, playing the violin and fly fishing.
