Minneapolis, MN -- The Minnesota Timberwolves activated forward Eddie Griffin from the injured list and placed center Ervin Johnson on the IL with patella tendinitis in his right knee.

Griffin has been sidelined since fracturing the second metacarpal on his left hand during a contest against the Los Angeles Clippers on February 24. In 52 games this season, he is averaging 7.9 points and 6.2 rebounds per contest.

Johnson has appeared in 43 games during the 2004-05 campaign, including 23 starts, and is averaging 1.6 points and 2.5 boards per outing.
