Ravens LB Suggs Doubtful Vs. Steelers

Owings Mills, MD -- (Sports Network) - Baltimore Ravens starting linebacker Terrell Suggs is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game with the Pittsburgh Steelers because of a right knee injury.Suggs suffered the injury in the Ravens' win over Cleveland on November 16, when Browns quarterback Brady Quinn threw an illegal chop clock following an interception. The injury, described by Ravens head coach John Harbaugh as a sprained ligament, then forced Suggs to sit last Sunday against Indianapolis. It was the first game the three-time Pro Bowl selection missed in his seven-year career. Suggs did not practice all this week, and Ravens defensive coordinator Greg Mattison said he didn't know about Suggs' possible participation. "I know the organization, or the football program part of it, will never play anybody until he's ready, and that's our belief," Mattison said. "We also have great trust and confidence that Terrell Suggs is doing everything he can do to get ready as fast as he can. That's really out of our hands." In other injury news for the Ravens, linebacker Ray Lewis (foot) and safety Ed Reed (illness, foot) are both questionable. Lewis missed practice Wednesday and Thursday before returning on a limited basis Friday. Reed was out all week.
