CLEVELAND -- A photo of LeBron James on the cover of Vogue magazine has created a controversy, WEWS in Cleveland reported. The April cover shows James with supermodel Gisele Bundchen. Many people are upset because of what the photo suggests. They object to the posing in the picture by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, comparing the grimacing James with his arm around Gisele to that of King Kong. The comparison has fueled racial stereotypes for some people. "I didn't want to bring up that point, but since you showed me that point, I totally agree with people that are upset about that particular picture," one Cavs fan said. "It's LeBron James. There ain't nothing wrong with that," another fan said. James is the first black male to grace Vogue's cover in 115 years. Normally, it's only women. The April edition is now on newsstands. Many fans hope the controversy doesn't overshadow the honor of being on the cover.
