The Hyundai Sun Bowl announced Grammy Award winning artist B.J. Thomas as the performer for the Dec. 31 game at Sun Bowl Stadium.
The Hyundai Sun Bowl will feature the Atlantic Coast Conference against the Pacific-12 Conference. This year's matchup will be Utah vs. Georgia Tech.
Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham and Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson are set to discuss the game Thursday during a news conference.
This marks the eighth consecutive year the Hyundai Sun Bowl has featured a halftime show. Previous performers have included Los Lonely Boys, Diamond Rio, Baby Bash, Rihanna, The Village People, David Archuleta and Lee Greenwood.
The Hyundai Sun Bowl is scheduled to start at noon. The game will be broadcast live nationally in high definition.
