El PASO, TX —

FBI agents along with the El Paso police department arrested a church business manager on Tuesday on charges of sexually exploiting children.

According to a criminal complaint, FBI agents and El Paso police officers executed a search warrant at the home of Joe Tapia III on Tuesday morning.

The complaint said that Tapia told FBI agents that he had received batches of child pornography from a man on an internet chat. Tapia stated that there were 3 separate incidents that showed where Tapia took video and still pictures of 3 individuals of teens who were changing during church performances.

Tapia is due in court Friday morning at 9:30. A judge denied him bond.
